Me- "You'll be 4 soon."
Jake- "On my next birthday?"
M- "Yep. I'll have a 4 yr. old boy!"
J- "On my next birthday?"
M- "Yeah. You get older every year. You were 1,2,3 and next 4."
J- "Well, I'm done being 3! My 3 is getting hot."

7/12:
"What's going on with the... world?"
-- at Publix parking lot--

7/12:
Me- "We're gonna leave in a few mins. to go to Paga's birthday dinner."
Jake- "Birthday dinner? But I don't like dinner. I'm 4!"

Week of 7/18:
"Ow! That's goin to hurt in the morning!"
"Catch me if you can!"

7/23:
On the phone with my mom--
Allie- "Hi Mamaw Paga"
Jake- "Hi Granma Paga"
A- "Hi J-Dog!"
J- "That's not J-Dog, Allie, that's Granma & Paga, you fool!"
