Trunk or Treats

Yesterday after church service, we had a Pumpkin Palooza in the gym at our church. Thankfully, this one was inside. The kids played games for prizes, we took family pictures and even had some food. It was fun time, the kids really enjoyed it.

After Pumpkin Palooza, we went home for a little break before trunk or treat at our friends' church. There was food at both places, so we didn't even have to worry about lunch or dinner. Win for me!
There may have been fewer things to do as far as bounce houses, face painting, etc. at our friends' church, but the trunk or treat itself was amazing! They did such a good job on their trunks. I took pictures of so many of them just cause they were so cool.

Another fun day. The trunk or treat at the Glade church was cold, but not as cold since the sun was out and we made sure to leave before the sun set. Plus we got chili this time, so it warmed us up. :)

Fall Festival

We went to the coolest fall festival on Saturday the 28th and I took so many pictures, I had to make it a separate post. This church really knows how to put together a festival, they had everything! Pony rides, little games like Jenga, football toss, corn hole, etc., face painting, hair coloring, a balloon artist, caricature, petting zoo, bounce houses, mechanical bull, spider jump, plus chili, hot dogs, chips and a s'more station and even a trunk or treat. We had so much fun! The only downside was how absolutely cold it was. We had the kids in several layers under their costumes but by nightfall it was pretty freezing.

 Oh yeah, a firetruck too! Maggie waited in line for the balloon artist while the other kids were off doing other things, so she got a very pretty balloon crown! :)

 Maggie was ecstatic to ride the pony! It was so sweet. Below the boys went in the little gladiator arena and Will let Jake knock him off. :)

What a really fun day/evening!! Everyone was happy to get out of the cold, but it sure was worth it.
