Our first day back was Saturday (the 25th) but I didn't take any pictures until yesterday. We got home later than expected Saturday afternoon and we unloaded the car, rested a minute then loaded back up for Will's 2nd soccer game of the day. They had a regular game and a make up game the same day, but I missed the first one because of the late arrival.
My dad was already at the house waiting for mom- it worked out nice because Daniel was able to leave Jake there to nap while he went to the soccer game. Jake has missed naps before but it is must preferred if he does not. So I'm glad my dad got there early.
My arrival home was not as dramatic as the other trips because Daniel and Will weren't there and Jake was asleep. When I woke up Jake to head to the game, he was so dazed he didn't quite give me a warm welcome. He did later on though. So between saying hellos to my other boys, watching the game and feeding the baby, there was no time for pictures, I suppose. But the pictures I got yesterday are really cute- Will put Maggie and Jake's chairs together and had a screaming match, basically. Welcome home. :)

Niagara Falls & the Zoo part 2
Technically, this was my 3rd visit to the falls, but 2nd on the Canadian side. Our visit was much colder this year than last but my mom was so excited to go, I don't think anything would've stopped us. Last year my mom came with me the first week- we arrived Sunday evening and she flew out early Saturday afternoon so there wasn't time to do much sightseeing. And she didn't come at all my trip in March/April, so I already knew a trip to Niagara Falls was in the plans. We picked her up Friday from the airport, so we had the whole weekend to have fun.
Me and my girls!! Even though she doesn't know the difference, I just had to get Allie out a couple times for just a few seconds because she was there! And I wanted her in the pics too.
What I didn't get to see last time was Niagara at night. The falls are beautiful all lit up! The picture certainly does not do it justice. We were freezing by this time and super tired when we got back to the apartment but it was worth it for sure!!
The day at the zoo, though sunny, was actually a little cooler. At least there was more bite to the wind, which meant it would've been even colder at the falls. We got to the zoo early afternoon so we didn't get a full day, but we decided to eat out for breakfast and that restaurant was so delicious, so worth it.
We did not have a very restful weekend, but it was fun. And Maggie sure was happy to see her grandma, especially after having to say bye to our boys.

Baby Alana - 2 months
Yes, little Allie is already 2 months old! Can you believe it? My goodness, time just flies right on by and our littlest girl is already growing so quickly. She only has one more month left as a "newborn" and she's starting to grow out of that phase. Some things about you at 2 months, Allie:
- You're staying awake more often and though you've always been alert, you're becoming even more so every day
- You're coming out of that newborn fetal position and stretch those legs quite often as opposed to pulling them up all the time. And boy are you long!
- You're still in newborn diapers and clothes but you will be moving up to 0-3 months soon now that you're stretching out more. I tried the 0-3 and lengthwise you can fit them but once those legs curl up, you get lost in the outfit, plus the girth was no where close.
- I love how you smile and talk to me- you have the sweetest little baby girl voice
- Here in Canada, we have gotten so many compliments on how beautiful and quiet you are. Everyone thinks you're such a good baby and they never hear you cry
- You really have been a trooper here, being mostly quiet during Maggie's therapy sessions
- Sleep-wise you're doing great. You still sleep plenty during the day, of course, and at night you're going 6+ hours without eating. Sometimes you'll wake up but a binky gets you back to sleep
Some pictures during the day then her monthly shirt pics:

Legoland
Before the boys left we decided to visit the Legoland Discovery Center here in Toronto. We got a coupon for a free kids ticket when we purchased the Lego Movie and I saw one of the discovery centers was located here so I knew it would a perfect surprise for Will.
And it was! He loved Legoland! Maggie and Jake enjoyed themselves too, only Allie was unimpressed. :)
We decided to go the day of their departure because Daniel was planning to leave later in the day anyway and this would give the boys a chance to burn energy before starting the long drive. I heard reports that Will talked about Legoland for several days after returning home, so it was a big hit for my little man!

One of Jake's favorite things was playing in these pools of legos

The boys visit
The boys arrived last Saturday evening (Oct 4th) and stayed all week. I didn't get pictures of everything but we spent some time at a park nearby, played in the apartment and they even came to one of Maggie's evening sessions. I took the boys to a back room so they could play instead of quietly sit still (which let's be honest, come on...) and Daniel stayed to watch Maggie work. Otherwise, the boys mostly stayed at the apartment while the girls went to the clinic and we spent time together in between. Not tons of family time, but better than being apart. :)
Not sure why they decided to set up camp in the kitchen, but it was really cute. And it wasn't even near bed time
