Well that's it. Will is 7 years old now. Seven!! I cannot believe it. Watching Will and all my children grow up is bittersweet-- I'm so grateful they're healthy and growing-- but time moves by so fast and in the blink of an eye my tiny little newborn turned into a 7 year old. Each birthday it's hard to believe Will is another year older and each year I'm like, "I can't believe you're already..." but as hard as 5 and 6 were, 7 is so grown up. It's the age of reasoning. He's still a little kid, but not a little, little kid. Just crazy!!

All that aside, let's talk about your big day. We can't always have your birthday party on your day, but I certainly don't want to skip it, so we get you a store bought cupcake or small cake for your actual day and then I make a cake for your party. Since you're 7 now, we're most likely done with big parties. We did, however, let you have another sleepover with just a few friends to help make your day special. Surprisingly you didn't want a big breakfast; I offered to make cinnamon rolls or pancakes, but you wanted waffles, so that's what we had. Your guests came over that evening and you guys had a great time playing games, eating pizza & cake and sleeping on the big bed!
excited he blew out his candles on the first try!
Happy 7th birthday, Will!! I love you so much!
