Jumpy the Lizard

Earlier this week the boys mowed the lawn. Well, mostly Daniel mowed and Will "helped" by watching, but they were outside together and little man came across a lizard. This is not an uncommon occurrence, at least not this time of year, but this time Daniel decided to catch the lizard. They brought it inside and decided to keep her (as she turned out to be) and Will named her Jumpy. At first we put her in a fish tank we have on hand, but last night we bought an aquarium, a lamp, some crickets and made her a little home. Will loves little Jumpy; he talks to her all the time and misses her when he sleeps and goes to school. Surprisingly, he'll let Jumpy crawl on his belly but isn't ready to hold her or let her crawl on his hands. After his Easter party and egg hunt today (another post), Will even decided to share a couple of his eggs with Jumpy. He's just so sweet.

We cut a little branch off a tree and bourght in some

mulch and wood, we think she really likes it

 sharing his eggs with Jumpy :)

Hopefully she lives awhile (remember the fishies?) and Will continues to love her and not "get over" her once the newness passes.
