5 months

We have a five month old baby girl living in our house! And what a wonderful five months it has been...where has the time gone? Our little lady is just growin and growin! Maggie doesn't have another check-up until she's six months so I don't have any updates on weight, height, etc. but there's more exciting things to talk about than those anyway, right? Maggie is doing very well with cereal, fruits and vegetables- peas and sweet potatoes seem to be her favorite jar foods thus far- but she does well with all she's tried. I forgot how bad peaches smell so we may glance over those next time we buy fruits.

She has sorta-kinda-but probably-not-technically rolled from her back to her belly. Last week she rolled to her belly and her shoulder was off the ground, but her one arm was still underneath her-- I'm sure that has to be pulled out to 'technically' be rolling from back to belly-- but she's got the motion down and can roll both ways. She's still a chatterbox, smiles all the time and has a very sweet temperament. Maggie Moo just graduated to 3-6 month clothes-- some 0-3month separates fit but the one-pieces are too short. She still has strong legs and thinks she's such a big girl when she bears her weight. We think she knows her name since she very often looks in our direction when we say it-- this could be the inflection in our voice-- or she may actually recognize her name. She sits in a Bumbo and is gaining strength in her core and lower back, shouldn't be too long before she starts sitting up, it all happens so fast!  

All in all Maggie is a blessing and true joy to have around the house. We all love her so much!!! Thanks to all our prayer warriors for your commitment! We love you all.
