I love you so much and am so happy to see you grow. You have the most amazing heart and love for people. Maggie, you are truly joyful and bring joy to all those around you. I still hear about how your smile lights up a room. You have an amazing light in you my sweet girl and you just let it shine; I hope you always let it shine for Jesus and bring joy and love to those around you. I'm so proud of you and grateful God chose me to be your mommy. Last day as a 6-year-old:
You have been planning your birthday and party for months. Since like March I think. You wanted a Frozen party with Allie but you also wanted to go to Build A Bear and do all these things so we agree you could have your party and save some plans for your actual birthday. So here's how we spent your day.
We gave you our present right after breakfast. You wanted this Matilda Jane jacket so bad! I grabbed it on sale several months ago and saved it for your birthday. Once you realized what it was, you got sooo excited! After I took Jake & Allie to Mother's Day Out, we did some school work then headed for the mall! First stop: Build A Bear, of course.
Maggie was so sure about picking the pink princess bear. She has a crown that lights up and the Disney princesses on her feet. I thought for sure Maggie would pick the Elsa bear, but in the end I shouldn't be surprised a pink bear won out. She picked out a song, a scent and then helped fill the bear by pressing the foot peddle.
She picked out two dresses, shoes and a little flower, this girl was in heaven! Good thing she saved all her birthday and Christmas money from the last couple years 'cause she spent a lot and this is just the beginning! (The child loves to shop- didn't get that from me. :) )
Next up, Disney Store! Then we had lunch and went to the candy store. We even made a stop at Target on our way back where she bought an Elsa baby she's been wanting. She wanted an outfit too, but there wasn't time, lol.
Maggie loved her day of shopping!! She loaded up and learned that's the good thing about saving. Then we picked up the littles and enjoyed playing outside before dinner, the weather was beautiful! We ate at "fireball" as the kids call it, which is a hibachi grill. This was Maggie's choice, pre-planned awhile ago. Love this girl. Planner like her mama. ;)
When ordering, Jake randomly asked for an orange. Then the guy brought one out! It was really sweet. The kids thought the "fireball" was cool again. Maggie still winced each time and Allie covered her ears, lol. Apparently the fire was loud, ha!
Happy 7th Birthday to you my beautiful, sweetheart Maggie Moo!! We love you so much. You planned a pretty awesome day and got to do almost everything. It wasn't warm enough for the pool and no Waffle House for breakfast or Disney on Ice (ha!) but you still had one wonderful birthday. And I'm very happy to have the privilege of celebrating with you!!
