Maggie gets a lot of walker practice inside but not much outside. The changes in terrain and the less-than-soft ground in case of a tumble makes me nervous. But it's time to move up, try a new challenge and being able to walk outside is a necessary skill. So that's what we've been doing. Maggie loves it and is pumped. Here's our barefoot Tennessee girl!

I love these guys!
I just cannot get over how adorable these littles are sometimes! You'll see what I mean...
My precious little sweet pea Allie loves to find unique places to sit and this just had me cracking up. A Barbie car. And not only that, it was mine when I was little.
She's saying "cheeese"
And then there's this cutie who needed his picture taken too
And this beautiful model
Love you guys! Will was at school and missed the photo shoot. :(

A baby shower
So I have a lot of cousins. If you've been reading for a while I'm sure you've gathered that by now. We were all very close growing up and managed to stay that way for the most part even after moving away from St. Louis. My cousin, Alex, and his wife are expecting a baby this summer and my aunt (his mom) asked if I'd help throw a baby shower.
This past weekend the kids and I went to St. Louis for said baby shower. They're having a boy with a sports theme so Stefani, Trina & I decided to host a baseball themed shower, sticking with one sport. A few items were requested of me: invitations, letters for the room, a banner, water bottle labels, iced sugar cookies and a diaper cake. I also made a baseball cake, baseball cake bites and the centerpieces. Stefani & Trina did food, drinks, tablecloths, paper products, games and prizes. We were a great team and everything came together really well!

The centerpieces- cute but still functional after the shower :)
The fondant didn't wrap quite the way I wanted it. I carved the cake to be an actual ball, but I couldn't get the fondant to tuck all the way under, so it just looks like a dome.
Letters & iced sugar cookies I made
My cousin, Kevin, passed away a couple months ago. He was Alex's oldest brother and my aunt Rose's son, so the baby being named Kevin Silas is extra special. Being able to celebrate the arrival of this baby has also given my aunt and her whole family something to look forward to- a joy amidst all the pain- so it was a special baby shower indeed.
The hostesses above and ladies playing games below. Can you name your baby poo? This one is figure out which chocolate is melted on the diaper (which of course looks like baby poo)
My mom and grandma above, Maggie coloring below. She colored the entire time- except when she was eating of course :)
At Alex's request, we all signed a baseball that will be nursery decor
