Spring Break at Centennial Park

Daniel didn't/couldn't take off work the whole week, so we chose a couple days to explore Nashville and the other days we played at home, went to soccer practice and bible study and had friends over (I even got a ladies night out). Next up, Centennial Park.

After exploring the Parthenon (which the kids were not impressed with) and the park, we went to Five Points Pizza to eat lunch. Daniel's family owns this building- his mom's maternal grandfather was a butcher and then grocer at the building, but it remains in the family today. His grandfather's picture is hung up at the pizza parlor, we actually sat in the booth near his photo, so a little bit of personal history for the kids today as well.
We finished the day out with good friends at James' birthday party yesterday evening.
