I love the look of fresh snow and the ice looks so cool on the trees, tables and everything. Excpet the street...I don't like the ice there. Fortunately, I'm able to stay at home so my love for the snow- and even ice- is able to continue. Driving in it...not so lovable. After missing that whole week, we missed three more days this past week (23rd-27th) going only Wed & Fri. Hopefully we'll be back to normal next week. Now we have to make up days days!

Ice Ice Baby
We were out of school the entire week of President's Day- Feb 16 was scheduled off but the rest of the week were snow days. Mostly ice, but about an inch of snow piled on the inch of ice. I took some really cool pictures, but I'll try to limit how many I post. :)

Baby Allie- 6 months
Half a year has already passed since your sweet baby self
entered our lives and hearts!! My goodness, slow down, how has half a year already gone by?! You are such a precious addition to our little family, we love you so much Alana Kathryn! You are
settling into such a good routine and really are a joy to have around, everyone
just loves you. A little about our Allie at 6 months old:
- you still love sitting up and looking around, you're very alert and observant. You won't turn down being held either :) You are starting to prop sit now so you're getting a little less bumbo time and you're sitting up very tall in the bouncy
- not surprisingly, you still talk plenty and love when we hold conversations
- you are a pro at getting that binky in your mouth and anything else around- you love paper so we have to keep that out of reach
- I'm moving you up to 3-6 month clothes which is kind of sad for me because some of my favorite outfits are in the 0-3 month size. Bittersweet :) Still in size 1 diapers
- you're doing great with cereal and fruits/veggies and I'll start feeding you meals twice a day soon and maybe start finger foods
- sleeping like a champ! You usually go to bed about the same time as your siblings- 8:00-ish and wake up around 7 or 8am
How sweet are you my precious little baby girl? I still love your dimples!! Oh my word, just too much cuteness in one little package. You are such a good, laid back, happy little baby. Whenever I leave you in nursery at church or bible study I always get compliments on what a great baby you are. So I'm not totally biased. Love you sweet pea!

Jake's sleep spots
Over the last several months Jake has fallen asleep in some pretty funny places. I've captured most of them on camera :)
Ok, the last one isn't unusual but it was cute :)
