18 months!

Is it just me or are these months going by faster? I mean, logically that's not possible...this year February had 29 days, the other months have at least 30 and each day still consists of 24 hours. But when I tell you it feels like last week I was writing about Maggie turning 17 months, it really does feel that way. Crazy!!!
Anyway, Ms. Moosie is officially a toddler, at least chronologically. And well, cognitively. 'Cause she's not afraid to give you her opinion on things. Maggie is still making progress in all areas of development and her therapists continue to approve of her work. She's getting better in her walker- I think it'll be awhile- probably months before she can walk independently in her walker. I'm praying she can do so by her 2nd birthday, which is also about the time the baby is scheduled to arrive. So that would be good. She's also been tucking her knees lately and even got on all fours herself the other day for just a second. We don't know if she'll crawl and it's not a specific goal or necessary milestone, but any time she spends in the position only aids in her strength and coordination. Last week she also pushed her little tray table halfway across the room on her knees!!! She just decided to do it with no prompting from us and that's a pretty big deal for her. We continue to be excited about her progress and are so proud of her determination -- a quality that is certainly a blessing.
