Saturday fun
Sometimes I really love my husband. I love him all the time, of course, but sometimes he just does something special that really warms my heart. Like making large piles of leaves for the kids to play. Yesterday I went to the hopsital to visit a friend whose baby is in the NICU. When I returned home, Daniel and the kids were in the front yard raking leaves...well, Daniel was doing the raking, Maggie was watching and Will, of course, was running through the pile. Fun! First thing I did was run through the leaves myself- an act which Daniel did not find very amusing. Apparently he was actually raking, not making a fun jump pile. Whoops. I told him you just can't have a huge pile of leaves lying around and NOT expect kids to run through it (or their mother apparently). Sooo he agreed. But the pile had to be nice and high first. So much fun!!
Then we had the joy of bagging the leaves. Not so much fun.
