Maggie six months

Maggie's check-up was yesterday but I didn't have time to post. She weighs 13 pounds, 10 ounces and is 26 inches long-- 25th and 75th percentile respectively. The pediatrician is referring us to a physical and occupational therapist to assess Maggie's motor skills. She's not passing objects from one hand to the other which is typical of most six month-olds and she keeps her right arm straight alot. The doctor said she can't look at her for 2 minutes and determine if it's a problem or not but she thinks it's a little stiff. We discussed that there's a range of development for little ones and they all progress differently, but given Maggie's birth history, she (and I) want to have her evaluated earlier rather than later. If the PT/OT determine there's nothing to worry about then we won't. Otherwise, she'll receive therapy; we won't get a call for a couple weeks to schedule the evaluation.
I'm not thrown off by this- I went to the doc expecting to request some physical therapy- I think she could be a more proficient grabber. I'm grateful to have a doctor that wants to get some early intervention instead of waiting to see if things improve on their own, which may be all that's required but we'll know for sure after she's evaluated. Please pray that if Maggie does require some therapy that she's able to breeze through it and catch right up. Thank you!
